[quote="aussie1"]Something else that I noticed speedy was that there were only 5 other drivers that were faster on track. Such a pity that he wasn't able to start from a better grid position :(

Hopefully he will get a fair go at it in the next round Aussie, avoid the lunatics and get more realistic results that show where he really stands among the field. I will be at Qld Raceway to cheer him on.. and lurking around the pits hoping for a close up encounter, and an autograph! :D

So it appears after the stewards have finished analysing the carnage of race 3 and excluded several cars, Casey gets his best result of the season :D

Thanks speedy & Marg. It at least gives a better indication of how Casey would have finished if there wasn't so much ............... car tackling ;) He would have done better over the whole weekend, but hey, we'll take it right.

Excellent read Marg. What I haven't been able to come to grips with this year is how laid back the team setup & management is; in particularly Roland. I guess he knows he's on a winner with Casey & knows Casey will give them his all & that there's no hard-line about next year & no pressure on Casey in that regard. I think knowing how fast Casey is, he knows Casey's potential is huge, so he really can't lose I guess. I'm really hoping for Casey, that he gets a really good result soon. It would be rather discouraging for lesser talented & driven drivers than Casey, but he will want to start seeing some reward for his effort & pace.
