Casey finished 11th from 17th position start in Race 2. And it was reduced to an 8 lap race!! Well done Casey :)

Just imagine how well he could have done if it was at least a 14 lapper (race is too short even then :? ) Passing 6 in 8 laps is brilliant :D
I can fully understand Casey's point about the length of the races. It not only doesn't allow for any decent recovery, but it leaves the fans of those guys severly ripped off. Eight laps? That IS a joke.

3rd race could be interesting :? Raining in the Australia car category only half an hour before Casey's race. Hhmmmm. That'll be interesting to see how he goes in the wet if it doesn't stop. I cannot remember him doing any laps in the wet.

Okay, don't listen to me anyone. I just heard that the first race of today was a little slippery & wet - I obviously need to actually watch a race in order to coment on it I guess

Great drive by Casey, getting into the top 5 in tricky conditions and with cars flying off the road all round him, shame the races are so short and keep cutting cut short by safety cars. British touring cars add laps when the safety car comes out. Would have been good to see where he could have got do with the full 14 :D :D

Exactly Marg 8-)

Quote of the weekend from Mark Winterbottom in regards to the sun coming out "can't wait to get the thongs on, errr, on my feet that is" Glad you clarified that one Mark :D

Casey a massive beneficiary from a few offs from others, (finally something going his way :) )& finishes 5th after passing Paul Morris - ex premier class driver (I think it was him anyway). What a farce though. Only 7 or 8 laps due to the time constraints & safety car  Again, just imagine where he could've gone in a decent length race.
Even with his misfortune this weekend, he still managed to finish 8th for the weekend points.

Great result for Casey! :D :D :D The wet weather specialist showing those guys how it's done!

Yes it's a shame that the race was cut short again, but sadly they have to keep to the time schedule so that the main events go to air on time

Yeah speedy. I think this is the first time I have absolutely prefered the minor category over the main category in kind of racing. As much as I like to follow Craig Lowndes, Casey is my absolute favourite over all racing categories.

Seriously, for anyone who watched race 3, was Casey looking smooth as while many others were all over the place in those conditions, not managing the grip as well as the feedback processing specialist? Or am I being a little biased.. :D

Lol. Nice title speedy :D
And, no, you're not being biased speedy, just ask someone who is comlpetely unbiased like myself ... ;)
And yes, he was looking so smooth. The funny thing about Casey being a wet weather specialist is that as we all well know, he just happens to be the best dry weather specialist as well. :D A rather imposing & complete racer if there ever was one. 8-)

Completely justified in being biased

Great round for Casey after a rough start in the first race to finish the round in P8 for the weekend points, hope this gives him confidence and he continues his development :D
